Play Streaming Media Group and KRON-TV Form Partnership
Play Streaming Media Group (www.psmg.net) announced today at NAB that it has teamed up with KRON-TV, providing the San Francisco-based NBC affiliate with streaming media services and technology for the upcoming launch of its Internet broadcast programming.
KRON-TV represents one of the first major broadcasters to develop content specifically designed for Internet audiences.
While many television stations across the world utilize the Internet to re-purpose previously recorded news segments and features, KRON-TV plans to deliver original programming that harnesses the interactivity and unlimited distribution avenues of the Internet. Details of the programming will be announced by KRON-TV in coming weeks.
