Surfview Entertainment Crosses 100th Streaming Media Program Channel Mark

Pacific Palisades, Calif. — May 8, 2000 /Xpress Press/ — While Disney and
Time Warner negotiate access for Disney channels, a revolution is happening
on the Web that will make their squabbles moot within the next two years.
The Surfview Guide of online on-demand entertainment channels already
allows more than 100 companies to bypass cable network systems and present
their shows to any viewer with Internet access - anywhere in the
world. This not only challenges cable TV systems, but also satellite
networks like BskyB and DirectTV.

This week Surfview announced that it has reached the one hundred mark in
channels offering web-based programming. Surfview Entertainment’s
Surfview.com is the most complete index of streaming entertainment
programming on the Internet.

“Program options are exploding. There will be hundreds of ’show’ offerings
by year’s end,” says Surfview founder Jim Tessier. “The ‘Quantum’ film
project is the first drop of what will be a waterfall of viewing options.”

As high-speed Internet access installations accelerate (over 20 million
expected by the end of 2000), Web entertainment viewers come to
Surfview.com to view the Surfview Guide, the most complete index available
on the Web of streaming entertainment programming.
