Samsung is noted for its innovation in the DVD category and the HT-DM150 system is no exception. The HT-DM150’s versatile DVD player is capable of DVD, CD, VCD, MP3-CD and CD-R/CD-RW playback. Videophiles will appreciate that the HT-DM150 includes Samsung’s coveted progressive scan system for pristine, flicker-free images. A full compliment of connections - Component, Composite and S-Video (for S-VHS, satellite receivers, and certain camcorders) outputs - means that the consumers can add additional video sources to be enjoyed through the HT-DM150.
Offering true 5.1 surround sound with 46-watts per channel and a 70-watt sub-woofer, Samsung’s HT-DM150 provides audio that truly brings the theater experience home. It is enhanced with Dolby Pro-Logic II decoder, which advances on the first generation Pro Logic’s four channel audio by producing stereo surround sound for the two rear channels. A DTS (Digital Theater System) extends the 5.1 channel surround to a 6.1 channel system with a center rear channel, adding up to powerful sound. The HT-DM150 also offers a digital tuning system with 30 presets for added convenience and functionality.
The HT-DM150 will be available in August for $399.99 (MSRP).
