TiVo Series 2 DVR Retail Distribution Expands

SAN JOSE, Calif., Aug. 1 /PRNewswire-FirstCall/ — TiVo announced today a plan to expand retail distribution for the TiVo Series2 Digital Video Recorder, offering additional consumer choice. The company expects to add both regional and national outlets on a limited basis before the holiday selling season. TiVo announced today the addition of The Good Guys! and Abt Electronics.

Earlier in the year TiVo launched the Series2 DVR via an exclusive partnership with Best Buy. Best Buy was instrumental in launching Series2 and will continue to be strongly committed to the category and a major distribution partner for TiVo moving forward.

TiVo Series2 DVRs are expected to be available at additional retailers in the coming weeks.
